Soul Retrieval
Very few of us are fortunate enough to live a life without some kind of trauma. No one really makes it through completely unscathed. Our ancestors knew this very well and placed as much importance upon addressing the spiritual aspects of healing as they did the physical. It’s believed that when we experience physical or emotional trauma, wherever it lands on the scale, a part of our soul may disconnect as an effort to survive the experience. These parts are never truly lost from you. They’re simply disconnected from you and after some time you may lose all sense or identification with these parts of yourself because you no longer feel safe in identifying with them. New beliefs, behaviors and patterns can also prevent their return.
The type and degree of trauma that may cause soul loss varies from person to person. Any event that causes shock can cause soul loss. Mistakes and misunderstandings for which we were shamed or behaviors that were deemed as socially unacceptable can cause soul loss. Accidents, heartbreak, abuse of any kind, natural disasters, war, losing those we love, addiction, illness, surgery, divorce, intense fear and acting against our own morals are all examples of what may lead to soul loss. We can even unintentionally “give” a portion of our soul away to lovers, someone we admire, pets, parents or children. Sometimes they can even be taken from us.
The symptoms of soul loss also vary from person to person in type and degree. Some may experience it as anxiety, depression, emptiness, grief, confusion, lack of purpose or direction, addiction, persistent illness or fatigue, chronic hardship, PTSD or even memory loss. You may literally say you don’t feel like yourself anymore or that you feel as if a part of you is missing. During the soul retrieval process your lost essence is restored to empower you once again with the gifts, wisdom, power and vitality that’s associated with it and inherently yours.
