I’m a formally trained shamanic practitioner. My practice is influenced by Celtic, Norse and Core shamanic training and traditions. The shamanic services I provide are broader than what is listed below. I offer service descriptions for the most common that occur and for informational purposes only. Sessions are customized to the unique needs of each individual with my guides prioritizing what to address and which modalities to use.

Frequently, the session will include several of the following and this will be determined by the guidance given to me through a shamanic journey with my guides.

This work is a form of spiritual practice and support. It is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. Results may vary depending on the nature of each session and the way in which the client integrates the work.

Divination

At times you may be unsure of a situation, your part in the scheme of things or feel confused about what you should do. Divination is an ancient shamanic method used to bring forth wisdom and information, offering clarity to your situation and support in choosing what steps are right for you.

Mediumship

This service is offered as comfort and support to those who have lost a loved one, including pets. Communication is made through consciousness-to-consciousness mediumship. I will not be merged with your loved one. Additionally, if it is discovered that they have not crossed over into the Afterlife then assistance can be offered.

Soul Retrieval

Very few of us are fortunate enough to live a life without some kind of trauma. No one really makes it through completely unscathed. Our ancestors knew this very well and placed as much importance upon addressing the spiritual aspects of healing as they did the physical. It’s believed that when we experience physical or emotional trauma, wherever it lands on the scale, a part of our soul may disconnect as an effort to survive the experience. These parts are never truly lost from you. They’re simply disconnected from you and after some time you may lose all sense or identification with these parts of yourself because you no longer feel safe in identifying with them. New beliefs, behaviors and patterns can also prevent their return.

The type and degree of trauma that may cause soul loss varies from person to person. Any event that causes shock can cause soul loss. Mistakes and misunderstandings for which we were shamed or behaviors that were deemed as socially unacceptable can cause soul loss. Accidents, heartbreak, abuse of any kind, natural disasters, war, losing those we love, addiction, illness, surgery, divorce, intense fear and acting against our own morals are all examples of what may lead to soul loss. We can even unintentionally “give” a portion of our soul away to lovers, someone we admire, pets, parents or children. Sometimes they can even be taken from us.

The symptoms of soul loss also vary from person to person in type and degree. Some may experience it as anxiety, depression, emptiness, grief, confusion, lack of purpose or direction, addiction, persistent illness or fatigue, chronic hardship, PTSD or even memory loss. You may literally say you don’t feel like yourself anymore or that you feel as if a part of you is missing. During the soul retrieval process your lost essence is restored to empower you once again with the gifts, wisdom, power and vitality that’s associated with it and inherently yours.

Soul Integration

Sometimes after a soul retrieval is performed a soul integration plan may be given. This is to help attune you to the soul part or parts that were reintroduced during the soul retrieval. This plan may be a task, action, practice, or ceremony to help attune you to the essence of yourself that was disconnected during the soul loss.

Power Animal Retrieval

Each of us has one or more animal spirits that are committed to us and our purpose here. They are attracted to our unique qualities and offer their own as spirit guides and teachers. Their wisdom and presence remind us that we’re never truly alone on this journey. As our devoted allies they extend their strength and power to lovingly guide, support and protect us as we traverse life’s terrain. Power animals are sometimes reintroduced along with soul parts as part of the soul retrieval process.

Energetic Clearing and Extraction

Along with our physical bodies we have energetic bodies. These bodies, also known as auras or energetic fields, extend outside our physical bodies. Our physical bodies are in a constant state of receiving information and can be influenced by energies that are retained by our energetic bodies. Displaced energy can create an energy block, or intrusion within the physical body. This may be experienced as pain, discomfort, or physical unease. A shamanic view of this is that the displaced energy is disrupting your flow of power and your body’s ability to process. The shamanic work to do for this would be to remove, or extract, the energy blockages and fortify the energetic and physical bodies with power.

Curse Unraveling

The word “curse” can conjure many preconceived notions to mind along with images of witches or voodoo dolls. But the truth is that curses are an everyday occurrence formed by ordinary people quite unintentionally or intentionally. We can even curse ourselves by adopting beliefs that we cannot do or have something. Curses do not create soul loss but they can energetically interfere and block what is inherently ours. The impact to our lives in terms of dysfunction can be very similar to soul loss. Sometimes, curses are removed prior to a soul retrieval, so that the soul part may return and integrate with more ease.

Compassionate Depossession

Sometimes after a person dies their spirit may not cross over into the Afterlife. These disembodied spirits may be people whose own experiences at the time of death left them compromised in such a way that they did not successfully cross over into the Light. This leaves them suspended in our reality which results in their suffering. Commonly, they have very little awareness or consciousness but can still be attracted to sources of life force which, for example, could be a home, tree, object, or person. These suffering beings may be attracted to a living person’s energy and become attached to them. Often, the attached being is unaware that they are deceased and using the living person as a resource. A living person who has experienced soul loss or other traumas can be more vulnerable to the influence of disembodied souls. The attached, or overshadowing being, can influence the living person in a variety of ways.

Illness, depression, any form of addiction, phobias, emotional challenges, suicidal tendencies, obsessive thoughts, and other issue may be in part due to the influence of overshadowing beings that have attached to someone.

It’s important to know that having an attached being is not uncommon. It is a normal occurrence even though it is unwanted. Compassionate Depossession is a humane therapy that benefits both the person affected and the attached suffering being. The separation is a natural process that is performed with love, kindness, and respect.

Shamanic Trance Dance

Our ancestors danced. They danced in gratitude. They danced in prayer. Within their shamanic cultures they danced ceremonially with the purpose of connecting with their ancestors, spirit guides, power animals and the Great Spirit. They danced to receive visions, wisdom, healing, strength, and guidance. This connection is still available to us by going within just as our ancestors did. Today’s dance rituals are still an ancient practice but have evolved to support contemporary times. They are held in sacred space by me as your guide and guardian. This is a dance of empowerment. Participants dance blindfolded to ensure privacy, freedom, and a full experience of going within. We set our intentions for what it is we’re bringing into our lives such as wisdom, healing, change. A brief breathing exercise helps to shift dancers into a trance state while the music supports you in your surrender to the experience. Most of all this is a dance WITHIN yourself. There is space and safety to let go into the freedom of movement, but physical dancing is NOT a requirement. * Please subscribe for email announcements if you wish to know when and where future Shamanic Trance Dances will be held.
